The first Jordanian Power Grid technical symposium showcased the findings of The Jordanian power grid Stability Under High Renewable Energy Sources Study, a study that was implemented in close cooperation with the National Electric Power company (NEPCO) and funded by the Jordanian-German Energy Partnership.

Some of the key highlights of the symposium was the insightful industrial talk delivered by the lead consultant at Quanta Technology LLC. The talk focused on the crucial topic of grid reliability within the context of net-zero emission pathways. In addition, the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) introduced innovative Pumped Hydro Electrical Storage (PHES) technologies and evaluated the feasibility of implementing the first PHES project in Jordan.

The symposium featured a panel discussion, which included stakeholders from different sectors to discuss the stability of the Jordanian power Grid and the exchange of valuable knowledge and experiences among participants.

Overall, the symposium served as an invaluable platform for sharing cutting-edge research outcomes, promoting sustainable energy solutions, and fostering collaboration among key stakeholders.
