The minister values the valuable support from the German Federal Government in different collaboration areas, especially in the energy sector, assuring on the importance of the energy partnership between Jordan and Germany and what it brings on the honorable outputs which will help in the green energy transitioning processes.

H.E. The minister and H.E. The German Ambassador, Dr. Bertram von Moltke handed over graduation certificates to the second batch of graduates of the German Energy Academy in the topics of PV Installation and Energy Efficiency. Dr. von Moltke considered this step as another example of the Jordanian-German energy partnership because the graduates are accredited according to the German standards and issued by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce Abroad.

The German Energy Academy was established in Jordan in October 2021, as a collaborative initiative under the Jordanian-German Energy Partnership project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, is conducted jointly with the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

As a regional center specializing in professional development, the German Energy Academy (GEA) offers extensive training in renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart grids, and various energy topics. The Academy's educational programs are designed to train technicians and engineers, providing them with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for contributing to the global energy transition.

The GEA's primary objective is to enhance the skills of technicians, preparing them for integration into the energy sectors of both Germany and Jordan.
