In lectures given by instructor Dr Osama Ayadi, the participants broadened their knowledge on how Solar Thermal Heaters operate, the types of heaters and the main components as well as a comprehensive economic feasibility study. The training equipped the engineers with valuable analytical skills in regard to Solar Thermal Heaters.

As part of the training program, two field trips were conducted to Crowne Plaza hotel Amman and the Royal Scientific Society, where participants examined the Solar Heating Systems installed there. During the trips, the trainees applied their theoretical knowledge on various practical, real-world scenarios, allowing them to grasp the necessary concepts required for problem solving.

The engineers were also trained on the “T*SOL” software, a popular simulation program for designing Solar Thermal Heating systems and determining their yield, giving them access to a vital tool for future reference.
